Reinaldo is passionate about developing evidence-based transportation solutions that improve people’s everyday life.
Reinaldo Germano is a planner with extensive experience in the field of public transportation planning. At Foursquare ITP, he works mainly with corridor planning, transit operations, and regional and statewide planning projects. He has worked on and led several Bus Rapid Transit and corridor studies at Foursquare ITP, adding to his experience providing on-the-ground support for cities throughout Brazil looking to improve Bus Rapid Transit operations. His key projects include developing regional and statewide plans such as a public transportation inventory and assessment in the Appalachian Region and Georgia’s Intercity Bus Study. Additionally, Reinaldo has led research efforts on transit funding and operator shortages, as well as a series of guidebooks on transit technology at small transit agencies. He is a recipient of the 2023 Mass Transit 40 Under 40 Award.
