Joyce Xin

Joyce is passionate about making cities more accessible, safe, livable, and resilient. She thrives on connecting with diverse communities and translating complex transportation challenges into solutions that serve everyone.

Joyce (she/her) has a diverse background in transportation planning, community engagement, data analysis, and graphic design. She has worked on several large-scale public incentive projects in New York City, including the East Side Coastal Resiliency (ESCR) project, where she played a key role in community outreach and stakeholder coordination. Her ability to translate complex urban planning concepts into accessible materials has helped bridge communication between city agencies and local communities. 

Joyce’s background includes pedestrian safety and multimodal mobility solutions. She combines technical analysis with strategic engagement to develop practical, people-centered transportation initiatives. Now, as a part of the Foursquare ITP team, she is excited to apply her experience to support innovative transportation solutions that improve mobility and accessibility.
