Gabriel is an optimist who believes in a more just and equitable future. He is excited to apply his knowledge and lived experience to help realize this vision in the world of transportation.

Gabriel Barrett (he/him) is a transportation planner and data scientist at Foursquare ITP. He is passionate about applying analytical approaches to urban mobility problems. He aims to further the effort of making more inclusive and accessible communities by using his technical skills in data analysis, visualization, and communication. Prior to joining Foursquare ITP, Gabriel was a research assistant at the MIT Transit Lab. There he worked on a project assessing the value of public transit with a focus on sustainability and gender equity. In addition to research, Gabriel’s breadth of experience includes work with non-profit advocacy groups, transit agencies, and local and state governments. This leaves him well-equipped to meet the needs of a wide variety of clients.
