In his pursuit of livable, healthy cities, Finn abides by the words of former Bogotá mayor Enrique Peñalosa: “A developed country is not a place where the poor have cars. It’s where the rich use public transportation.”
Finn Vigeland, AICP (he/him) is a transportation planner passionate about promoting equitable access to multimodalism and reducing our dependency on single-occupancy vehicles. His work cuts across service planning, strategic planning, and design and public engagement in order to produce more complete transportation networks and more user-friendly urban design. At Foursquare ITP, his key projects include the Atlanta-Region Transit Link Authority Annual Report and Audit, the Central Maryland Regional Transportation Plan and subsequent implementation plan and corridor studies, the moveDC 2021 Update, the New York City Interborough Express Feasibility Study, and the WMATA Bus Network Redesign.
