Chao is passionate about transit and active transportation which are key elements to help promote sustainability and equity in transportation. He is also an avid traveler and enjoys exploring different transit and active transportation systems around the world to gain inspiration for improving the local system.
Chao Meng is a transportation planner with experience in transportation planning, transit planning, travel demand modeling, data analysis, and geographic information systems (GIS). He is proficient in STOPS modeling and ArcGIS and has experience with R Studio and Adobe Creative Suite. Chao is passionate about helping clients design transit systems that improve mobility, reduce congestion, and contribute to the region’s sustainability goals. He has worked as transportation planner on several transit projects in Georgia and utilized his knowledge on transit planning and ridership forecasting to help clients with their future strategies and project prioritization based on the benefits associated with their proposed future projects and will contribute to Foursquare ITP’s continued success in the Southeast.
