Aileen spent her childhood drawing a street network in chalk on her driveway and charging her older brother a usage fee. She’s developed a career over the past decade building on these multimodal design and financial planning skills.
Aileen M. Daney (she/her) is a project manager and office manager with experience designing places where people who walk, bike, and access transit want to be. Aileen has led metropolitan transportation plans, regional transit plans, corridor studies, policy creation, and program development for transit authorities and metropolitan planning organizations in Atlanta. She has also worked nationally on trail master plans, bikeshare business plans, bicycle and pedestrian master plans, and community health impact assessments. Prior to joining Foursquare ITP, Aileen worked as Director of Planning for the Atlanta-Region Transit Link Authority (The ATL), Senior Planner for the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC), and Planner for Alta Planning + Design.
