Congratulations to Lessie Henderson and Samantha Huff! Both working on the District of Columbia’s TDM program, goDCgo, they are winners of the class of 2023 40 Under 40 in TDM award through the Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT).
Lessie is our TDM Coordinator, leading the Residential & Commuter and Visitor Outreach program for goDCgo. She has been at Foursquare ITP for two years, and you’re most likely to find her at a table in a DC apartment lobby or at a popular street festival enthusiastically empowering residents to take control of their commutes with the many options available to them in the DC region. She enjoys networking, building relationships, and assisting properties and developers with their zoning orders and site plan requirements. Before joining Foursquare ITP, Lessie worked in the sales, nonprofit, and customer service sectors, as well as on the frontlines of transit.
Samantha is our TDM Marketing Manager, leading marketing for goDCgo and DDOT Transit Services. She has been with Foursquare ITP for three years. Samantha is passionate about using sustainable transportation to improve the environment and increase the livability of marginalized neighborhoods. She enjoys educating the public about sustainable transportation options, developing creative marketing campaigns to incite behavior change, building relationships with local communities, and collaborating with her team members. Prior to working at Foursquare ITP, she worked with small businesses in a variety of industries to create and implement digital and traditional marketing campaigns.
