Identify high-demand corridors for transit service using Foursquare ITP’s Route Optimization Tool.
Determine which corridors are most in-demand for regional travel to help your transit agency capture new or lapsed ridership. The tool uses Replica origin-destination flows to identify the area’s highest-demand corridors and any gaps where transit service could be supported.
The tool’s analysis is separated into three categories for which high-demand corridors can then be identified: General, equity-weighed, and work trips. All inputs needed can be provided by Foursquare ITP, making this tool usable by any agency in the United States.
