Daniel Ritter

Daniel is passionate about creating cities where walking, bicycling, and riding transit are comfortable and enjoyable. He believes that the experience of the trip itself is just as important as getting to where one needs to go.

Daniel Ritter (he/him) is a transportation planner passionate about using data and spatial analytics to improve mobility, accessibility, and connectivity. He has experience in spatial analysis and mapping, monitoring and evaluation, and environmental planning. Daniel is particularly interested in transportation networks and how individuals can travel more comfortably and efficiently. While studying at the University of Utah, Daniel conducted research for the Healthy Aging & Resilient Places Lab on the relationship between pedestrian fall risk and the built environment. Additionally, he worked with a local nonprofit to evaluate Salt Lake City’s bicycle network with a focus on comfort and access to opportunity.
