Foursquare ITP served on the team that helped to finalize Bus Rapid Transit plans for the US-29 corridor within Montgomery County, Maryland. The overall project resulted in a fully realized and designed BRT system. Foursquare ITP’s work included the redevelopment of the area’s Ride On and Metrobus local bus services in order to best utilize resources and provide improved transit connections throughout the corridor. Our team performed a comprehensive service assessment of the RideOn and Metrobus services, a demographic and transit need analysis of the corridor, and a transit gap analysis. Additionally, Foursquare ITP led much of the project’s outreach efforts, including focus groups and public information meetings, to collect additional qualitative information.
