Atlanta (April 2023)— Foursquare Integrated Transportation Planning, Inc. (Foursquare ITP) is excited to announce that we now have a presence in Atlanta, Georgia! Two new staff members have been hired to work in Atlanta.
Aileen Daney, formerly the Planning Director at the Atlanta-Region Transit Link Authority (the ATL), will be leading the Atlanta office. She has been hired as a Project Manager & Senior Transportation Planner.
Aileen has experience in public and private sectors and is committed to a career advancing affordable, safe, resilient, and equitable mobility options for all. While serving as Planning Director at the ATL, she established the Authority’s first-ever project database; analyzed and recommended priority transit investment opportunities for the Georgia Legislature, securing over $17 million between FY22 and FY23; and established and managed the Local Technical Assistance Program. She also served as Project Manager of the Annual Report and Audit, a planning, funding, and operations performance summary of all operators in the region. Prior to joining the ATL, Aileen worked at the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) and Alta Planning + Design. Aileen holds a Master of City and Regional Planning from Rutgers and a BA in Urban Studies from the University of Pittsburgh.
I am incredibly grateful and thrilled to lead Foursquare ITP’s new office in Atlanta, capitalizing on the momentous partnerships and projects advancing transit, walking, and bicycling as preeminent modes for the region. Chao and I are eager to hit the ground running, effect change in our beloved community, and connect and work with you!

We have also hired Chao Meng, AICP as Task Lead & Transportation Planner at the Atlanta office. His experience includes transportation planning, transit planning, travel demand modeling, data analysis, and geographic information systems (GIS).
Chao is proficient in STOPS modeling and ArcGIS and has experience with R Studio and Adobe Creative Suite. He has worked as transportation planner on several transit projects in Georgia and utilized his knowledge on transit planning and ridership forecasting to help clients with their future strategies and project prioritization based on the benefits associated with their proposed future projects.
Chao has five years of experience, having been a transportation planner and modeler at Modern Mobility Partners and as a transportation planner with HNTB, both in Atlanta. He holds a Master of City and Regional Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a BS in Economics from The Ohio State University.
I am excited to apply my knowledge in transit planning to help clients in Atlanta design transit systems that improve mobility, reduce congestion, and contribute to the region’s sustainability goals.
