Foursquare ITP is pleased to announce that we have been certified by the DC Department of Transportation (DDOT) as a Certified Business Enterprise (CBE). By relocating our headquarters to DC in 2021, we were not only able to provide a more convenient location for our employees and proximity to more clients, but were able to achieve this distinction. CBE-certification allows us to access additional contracting opportunities and provide additional value to DDOT and our teaming partners on locally funded projects that require CBE company participation.
Over the past eleven years, Foursquare ITP has been a trusted partner to DDOT, working with the agency on a wide variety of transit initiatives, including our work planning, implementing, and marketing DC Circulator bus service; playing a key role on the moveDC 2021 Update, the District’s 25-year transportation vision and action plan; operating goDCgo, the city’s TDM program; developing a comprehensive bus priority program and plan; developing expansion and funding plans for Capital Bikeshare; and much more.
“The CBE-certification will allow us to bring our strong transportation planning, design, outreach, and data science capabilities to DDOT on more projects,” says David Miller, Foursquare ITP’s COO. “In the past, the value that Foursquare ITP could have brought to certain projects wasn’t always able to be leveraged. With the CBE designation, the areas where Foursquare ITP can contribute to improving transportation in our home city will no longer be limited.”
Foursquare ITP is a multi-modal transportation planning firm focused on providing innovative transportation solutions that are practical, focused, and implementable. Founded in 2006, the company has nearly 50 employees in offices in DC, Philadelphia, and Baltimore.
