Jessica is passionate about the relationship between design and transportation and is especially interested in how transportation can shape the landscape. She is excited about the opportunity to help create environments that are sustainable, equitable, and accessible.
Jessica Klion (she/her) is a project manager and senior transportation planner dedicated to transforming urban transportation systems to make them more sustainable and equitable. She is especially interested in the interplay between transportation and urban design and specifically how innovative transportation solutions can be used to make urban and rural environments more sustainable, equitable, and accessible for all populations. She is skilled in complex data analyses in both R and GIS and is passionate about developing clear data and cartographic analyses and visualizations to make transportation planning and policy understandable to wide audiences. Her key projects at Foursquare ITP include the Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) Transit Strategic Plan, the HRT Capital Improvement Plan, the Gwinnett County Transit Development Plan, and numerous micromobility feasibility and strategic plans.
